LineTracker Conductor Mounted Sensors

The LineTracker series of overhead line recorders are the most versatile intelligent devices available. Utility Operators, Maintenance, Designers and Planning Engineers can easily monitor the condition and performance of high voltage grids remotely or on site. With the LineTrackers built-in wireless communications, users can download information without removing the untis from the line. Installed at strategic points such as T-junctions, switches, rural feeders and substations, information is stored for local download or remote communication to existing SCADA, Outage Management Systems or Distribution Management Systems.

The comprehensive data provides accurate fault detection and identification, especially when multiple faults occur. It also highlights potential weak areas, facilitating pre-emptive maintenance before outages occur. Many Utilities use these devices as portable troubleshooting tools and permanent installations with remote reporting at a fraction of the cost of SCADA RTU installations.
