Transformer Failure Modes
Temperature Cooling and Monitoring
- Three calculated winding temperatures
- Up to twelve fibre optic measured winding temperatures
- OilFlowIQ watches cooling efficiency
Online Bushing Monitoring
- Power Factor monitored continuously with partial discharge available
- Install on sets of three bushings, up to 15 bushings total
- Data is continuously logged in a CSV file
Capturing Core Ground Current
- Comparator circuitry captures the presence of any ground current
- The waveform is stored in memory for extraction and evaluation
- A power quality analyser (GridSense PowerMonic) is then installed
Load Tap Changer Diagnostics
- Position history used for LTC settings and de-energised tap setting
- LTC Differential Temperature Alarm indicates contact heating
- Motor Current Alarm indicates motor/gear train problems
- Excessive use and Hunting Alarms aid in setting LTC controls
Annunciation & Alarming
- Hand-held or remote mountable display offers flexibility
- Retrieve last 100 alarms or last occurrence of any individual alarm
- NEMA Form C relay contacts and analogue outputs available
